Demand for cadres of specialists in new high-tech industries (e.g. Industry 4.0) is growing steadily. To meet the industry's demand for access to highly skilled engineering staff, universities will work together with industry to refine detailed curricula targeted at educating students to satisfy the market demand for highly qualified engineers.
In the near future, Poland will face significant investments requiring the employment of a large number of well-educated university graduates. In order to meet the requirements for employing such a significant number of specialists, industry and universities must cooperate extensively. The Science4Society platform, as a tool for cooperation, will help develop the best solutions in this area.
The online platform will include data from most Polish technical universities with achievements both in traditional fields of education and research and in emerging industries (e.g. space technology), where knowledge of achievements is not widely available. An example is the new UNIVERSEH initiative - the European Space University for Earth and Humanity, as part of which the AGH Space Technology Center has been established.
