Construction of the system

The collected material in the form of patents, utility models, specialized research teams, and research services performed in both scientific units and industry will be presented in the form of an interactive information system.

The design and implementation of the Science4Society cooperation platform for multiple industries, the scientific sphere and socio-economic entities will enable:

  • presentation of the offer of scientific entities to industry: technological offers, patents, implementations, completed projects, published research results, specialized research teams, etc.,
  • search for and implementation of research services,
  • close cooperation of the network of innovation brokers within Polish universities,
  • access to a database of students and graduates with particular competencies and information on: courses taken, internships, job placements, knowledge of foreign languages, professional experience, soft competencies, completed projects, etc.,
  • joint creation of the optimal path of development for engineers (potential employees),
  • handling internships, industrial placements for students and employees,
  • building public acceptance for the introduction of new technologies and services.

The Science4Society cooperation platform will be divided into several modules, which will simultaneously be the project milestones and verifiable indicators:

  • Innovation module (includes information on: patents, projects, research teams, implementations, requests for proposals, good practices, model collaboration),
  • Collaboration module (includes: information on internships, placements for staff and students, research teams with diverse competencies, and information on research topics that can be carried out as implementation doctorates),
  • Services module (includes: search for research services, their availability, implementation of research services, storage of research results on the platform).

The information system plays an information and service role and is used to establish cooperation in various areas. It will be presented at industrial fairs, invention exchanges, conferences and seminars. By widely disseminating information about the Science4Society platform, the team wants to reach the widest possible group of beneficiaries (employees of universities, industry employees, SMEs, employees of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, social environment).
